100 days

 Junior passed the 100 day milestone a couple weeks ago.  Mommy started work that week too, so he spent the day with Daddy.  In terms of new developments, Junior rolled over for the first time.  He can't do it most of the time, but occasionally if everything is aligned just right, he can go from stomach to back.  He's also become better at grabbing things and holding on tight.  He'll pull his toys like crazy and  shake his rattle a little before it goes in his mouth.

3 months old

On the day that Junior turned 3 months old, we were on our way back to SFO from Seattle.  He handled the flight back like a seasoned veteran and pretty much slept the whole way.  He had some mischief up his sleeve, however, when he decided to let a bucket load of poop out just as the pilot was making his final descent into SFO.  Of course that meant that we were stuck in our seats without any way of changing his diaper.  He made mommy and daddy smell his creation until we were able to finally change his diaper at the nursery next to our landing gate.  Needless to say, the poop leaked a little onto his clothes, but luckily we had the nursery all to ourselves and an extra set of clothes on hand.  As you can see from the picture, he was very proud of himself.

Except for one little meltdown at the very end, my first airplane experience was a success.

New Years in Seattle

Junior spent New Years in Seattle.  It was his great-grandma's 80th birthday, so all of his relatives from Grandma K's side were there too.  He met all of mommy's aunts, uncles and cousins, and he got to see Grandpa for the first time.

Junior seemed to really enjoy being around so many people.  He kept getting passed from one person to another, so he was pretty much held the whole time.

While the men slept, the women were busy making great-grandma's famous dumplings.  Hopefully Junior doesn't get the wrong impression that only women belong in the kitchen, because it's NOT TRUE.

At night, we played fun Korean games like yoot-nol-e, go stop, gong-gi and of course karaoke.  Daddy tried to shelter Junior from the karaoke singing, because he was afraid it might be too loud for him.  Junior actually fell asleep while mommy was singing.  He's probably trained to sleep to the sound of her singing from listening to her lullabies.
