He had a great time once we landed. The first leg of the trip was visiting Daddy's parents in Long Island. We met with most of Daddy's relatives and spent a day in Manhattan. The rest of the time was spent at home just playing with Grandma and Grandpa.

Cousin CP also made the trip out at the same time. Junior was unfortunately the bully of the two and would hit cousin CP whenever he felt like it. We finally had to give him his first time out in the playard, and after a couple of times he learned to control himself for the most part. Overall though, they got along pretty well.

For the second half of the trip we took a train down to Delaware and visited Mommy's parents. The days were much calmer with just one little guy running around, but we of course couldn't take our eyes off him even for a few seconds. We did some sight-seeing around town, including Longwood gardens and the Delaware children's museum.

Overall we had a great time on our trip, and we're glad we got a chance to do it before Junior's baby brother arrives..... but after 2.5 weeks away from home, we were pretty happy to be back in our own beds. As soon as we walked into our house from the airport, Junior was so excited to see his own toys. That first night back he slept really well. That was the longest he's ever been away from home. He must of felt relieved to be back home. Home sweet home.
